Stories from Grace Haven - God on the move transforming lives.
TOM - Tom was one of our first guests at Grace Haven. Since he has come, he has recommitted his life to Christ, got a job and is now saving up and ready to go out into the community. We are so proud to see his progress.
ROMY - We met Romy on one of our outreaches at the park. After he heard the Gospel message, the next day he contacted us saying he wanted to change his life. We got him into housing and he is still doing well, studying the Word, going to church, and went from homeless to housed.
ROBERT - Robert was also met on one of the outreaches. We brought him into Grace Haven. Two weeks later he got a job as a trucker. He is still housed at Grace Haven, is being reunited with his family, and is doing very well.
DEAN - One of our partner churches contacted us about Dean, they said he was very motivated and needed some help to get off the streets. The next day we got him into Grace Haven. He is now looking for work and has several interviews. He is going to church and doing very well. Your prayers would be appreciated for an open door for him to find employment.
At Grace Haven, we bring people in who have an income and are homeless, or if they don't have an income and are very motivated, we will bring them in to give them an opportunity to find a job and or to get on their feet. we are consistently trying to get people that were homeless to become housed and productive in society again.

CHRISTMAS FOR THE HOMELESS
2 Act Ministries not only provides affordable housing for the homeless, but we also engage with the community eight times a month to distribute essentials, seasonal items, the Gospel, Bibles, and resources. With prayer and love, we offer them hope, reassuring them that Christ has a plan for their lives.
And of course we also have Christmas for the guys at Grace Haven.

In the last month over 100 people in the community called to get resources, on every phone call and text, we always talk about Jesus, give the Gospel, and I have over 300 resources saved in my phone. Whether it is addiction or mental health or just information on rental assistance and other resources I try to give as much information as I can.
One of the gentlemen that we helped has health issues and needed emergency housing until his funds came in. Unfortunately, he is in and out of the hospital a lot. We were grateful to be able to be there to help him so he was not sleeping on the streets. If he was on the streets, he probably would not have survived.
So many people text us to let us know how things went. We are
always grateful to see how the information and resources we have are making a difference in the community. And especially grateful to be able to let people know about Jesus, give them hope, and offer prayer.
Every week, God uses the ministry to not only provide much-needed essentials, emergency resources, the gospel & prayer. But to help people get off the streets.
When a homeless person or family calls, I will go and meet them, bring them a big care package filled with supplies, including Bibles, daily breads, and get them something to eat. After that, I will make sure they get to the resources needed to get help.
OUTREACH IN THE COMMUNITY
With 8 outreaches every month, we are consistently busy. We go to the parks, we do mobile outreach, we go to the transitional facilities for the homeless, and we are also at the shelters, consistently providing essentials, spiritual needs, and much needed essentials.
We are very grateful for everyone in the community who continues to support 2 Act Ministries - Valley Vegas Church, New Hope North Community Church, Northpointe Community Church and many others who do drives, partner with volunteers, provide financial support and so many other blessings.
