Everyone was up early on Saturday morning making 100 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and bagging them. The team arrived at Valley Bible Fellowship and were joined by a few more volunteers. We were pleasantly surprised to find that one of our volunteers made us over 75 ham and cheese sandwiches for us to add to our food bags.

We all headed to an empty lot at Owens and B street. We set up three tables with only clothes, and three more tables with food bags, blessing bags, water, and Vitamin water. The clothes were well received, and many of the people who got clothes reported that they found exactly what the needed. We love to God working in this way- He truly is The Lord our Provider! We handed out over half of our Blessing Bags at Owens and B street, and as the crowd started thinning, our prayer team headed out.

The prayer team left with 22 Bibles, and were able to bless 22 people with Gods Word. To see the scriptures received with such eagerness is one of our greatest joys. We know that caring for the physical needs of those on the streets is important, but their greatest need is spiritual. And we are honored to be able to provide Bibles to them.

The prayer team prayed for some people there as well. Some of the prayer requests were for reconciliation with families, healing, and employment, which are common requests from those we meet on our outreaches.

With over 20 blessing bags left, we went to Bonanza and D street to hand out the rest.

The Summer months are difficult for those on the streets, please pray for them, and pray that God would send more poeple out to minister to them both physically, and spiritually. Thank you to all those who helped out, without the volunteers, we would not be able to make the impact that we do on the Las Vegas streets. And thank God for the chance to be the instruments of his peace.
