This month, we started out at Sahara and Las Vegas Blvd. As we were unloading our equipment, we had the owner of a local publication approach us and ask us about our ministry! We were happy to share with him what we do, and why we do it. We thank God that people are interested in what we do, and that we are reaching others in the community.

We had our regular food bags, with sandwiches, crackers, and fruit, as well as our blessing bags with toiletries, and socks. We also had bottled water, and lemonade. It never gets old to hear people say "that's just what I needed!" when we offer them socks and food. God has surely blessed us in allowing us to gift others with these essential things, and use that as a platform to tell them about Jesus.

One woman was very happy that we had included wet wipes in the bags, and immediately used them to clean up. She also stayed with us as we prayed for a group of people we met at a convenience store. Further down the street we met a few men living out behind some apartments who were happy for something to eat. We ran into a woman who was needing information abut where to get help. Many people on the streets lack the resources needed to get out of their situation. Never underestimate the effect that just talking to someone has. Of course its much easier to engage someone in conversation when you have something to offer them, and we see this constantly as we often get a chance to speak to someone because they simply needed some water, or a pair of socks.

Thank you everyone for your support of our ministry, and for your prayers. Please continue to pray for those on the streets who need help, whether its food, clothing, or just an encouraging word. Also pray that God will continue to send people out who can reach the downtrodden and brokenhearted. And if you feel you can do more, feel free to join us on one of our outreaches!

God Bless!
